The Argos Pestle Mixer is a lightweight battery powered instrument that can be used with disposable pestles, mixers and micro tubes. Cell tissue and pellets are completely homogenized within seconds by means of a high speed vortexing action. Greatly reduces hand fatigue. Comes complete with 2 AA batteries and pestle/mixer adapter.

Designed to homogenize cells and plant tissue or to re-suspend protein and
DNA pellets. Argos pestles and tubes are DNase / RNase and pyrogen free
and individually wrapped to guarantee purity. With their grooved grip handle
tailored to fit with our microtube, it is easy to turn and does not slip even when
wearing gloves. Autoclavable. Pestle length: 7.5 cm
